Mixed fancy guppies are vibrant, peaceful freshwater fish that thrive in community aquariums. These colorful males and females display striking patterns and flowing fins, making them a popular choice for both beginners and experienced aquarists.

Tank Setup
Fancy guppies require a minimum 10-gallon tank with gentle filtration and stable water conditions. Maintain temperatures between 72–82°F and keep pH between 6.8–7.8. Weekly 25% water changes support their health and color vibrancy.

Diet
Feed high-quality flake food, micro pellets, or small granules twice daily in portions they can consume within 2–3 minutes. Supplement weekly with frozen bloodworms, daphnia, or brine shrimp to enhance coloration and breeding vigor. Avoid overfeeding, which degrades water quality.

Tank Mates
Guppies are peaceful and compatible with other non-aggressive community fish such as tetras, rasboras, corydoras catfish, and dwarf gouramis. Avoid housing them with fin-nippers, large predatory fish, or aggressive species. Males may display mild aggression toward each other; provide ample plants and hiding spaces to reduce conflict.

Care Notes
Live aquatic plants improve water quality and provide refuge. Monitor for signs of stress, disease, or poor fin condition. Guppies are hardy but sensitive to rapid temperature or pH swings. Keep a gentle current and ensure adequate oxygen through aeration or surface movement.
